REBORN SOUL 2: Evolve-One and DJ Ian Head
In 2006, Evolve-One and DJ Ian Head released the instrumental album "Reborn Soul: Aretha & Roberta" made from strictly old Roberta Flack and Aretha Franklin records, looped, chopped and sampled in all kinds of ways. The project was downloaded several thousand times over the past few years, and is still available for free here at everydaybeats.net.

Reborn Soul 2 is the follow-up, with each producer taking a different angle. Evolve digs even deeper into his Roberta stacks and comes back with a nice little batch of instrumentals. Ian goes back to some of his favorite beats off the original release and links them up with a few emcees flipping distinct styles on each - Verbal Math (DollaBin), Opoetik and Mouthblocks.
